Ningbo Airport

Ningbo Lishe International Airport opened in 1990 and today operates with two passenger terminals, serving as a medium-sized international gateway for Zhejiang’s port city. The airport handles a mix of domestic and regional international routes and is an important regional hub rather than a national mega-hub. Located roughly 13 km from downtown Ningbo, Lishe is well connected by Ningbo Metro Line 2, regular airport shuttle buses, taxis and highway links to nearby cities and high-speed rail stations. Fares tend to be competitive—especially on domestic and short-haul routes—and major carriers flying here include China Eastern, China Southern, Air China and several low-cost operators such as Spring Airlines and Loong Air.
