Multan Airport

Multan International Airport, opened in the mid-20th century (around the 1960s), operates from one main passenger terminal and serves as the primary air gateway to southern Punjab and the historic city of Multan. Mid-sized but strategically important, the airport handles regular domestic routes and seasonal international services, making it a convenient choice for pilgrims and business travelers alike. It sits roughly 10–15 km from the city centre with taxi, ride-hailing and limited bus links to Multan’s road and rail network, plus easy access from regional motorways. Generally considered affordable for travelers, MUX is a regional base for Pakistan International Airlines and is regularly served by AirBlue, SereneAir and AirSial.
