Moscow Regional Airport, serving the Pullman–Moscow area and Washington State University, traces its roots to the mid-1930s (opened around 1936) and operates from a single small terminal that handles regional traffic. As the primary gateway to the Palouse, the airport is a compact but important connector to larger hubs, with regular flights to Seattle and other Pacific Northwest cities operated by Alaska Airlines and several regional carriers. It’s an easy drive from downtown Pullman and a short shuttle or rental-car trip to Moscow, Idaho, with limited bus links and campus shuttles. Fares can be slightly higher than at major hubs due to limited competition, though seasonal sales and regional routes often make for good deals; the airport is not a major airline hub but remains the most convenient option for travelers to the area.
