Moron

Morón Airport, serving the city of Morón just west of Buenos Aires, opened in the early 20th century (around the 1910s) and today operates from a single small terminal and sprawling apron used mainly for general aviation, flight training and military support. As a compact, historic airfield rather than a major international gateway, it’s an important local aviation center and a quieter alternative to Ezeiza and Aeroparque. The airport sits roughly 20–25 km from central Buenos Aires with easy road access, frequent local buses and nearby commuter rail connections, making transfers straightforward. With few regular scheduled services it’s generally an affordable option for charters, training flights and private travel, and it functions primarily as a base for flight schools, general aviation operators and Argentine Air Force activity rather than for major commercial airlines.
