Marina di Campo Airport (EBA), the compact gateway to Elba island, opened in the 1960s and operates from a single small terminal serving mainly seasonal and regional routes; its compact runway and friendly facilities make it ideal for short-haul turboprops. Located beside the seaside village of Marina di Campo, the airport is an important link for holidaymakers, with buses, taxis and seasonal shuttle services connecting to Portoferraio, Piombino ferry terminals and nearby towns. Not a hub for major airlines, it’s served by regional and charter carriers, and fares tend to be moderate but can spike during summer high season.
