Maharana Pratap Airport

Maharana Pratap Airport (UDR) at Dabok, serving Udaipur, opened in the late 1950s (around 1957) and operates from a single passenger terminal that handles growing domestic traffic. This compact regional airport is an important gateway to Rajasthan’s lake city and nearby hill resorts, with a scenic approach over the Aravalli range. Located roughly 20–25 km from Udaipur city center, it’s well connected by taxis, app-cabs and state bus services, with the Udaipur City railway station a short drive away. Fares tend to be more affordable than major metros thanks to frequent low-cost flights; IndiGo and SpiceJet (along with Air India and Vistara services) dominate routes, though UDR is not a major airline hub.
