Macau International Airport

Macau International Airport (MFM), opened in 1995 on reclaimed land at Taipa, is a compact international gateway with a single passenger terminal that handles regional and some international flights. As Macau’s main airport it’s an important link for casino and business travelers connecting the city to Hong Kong, Mainland China and Southeast Asia; ground access includes taxis, buses, the Taipa line of the Macau Light Rapid Transit, and road links via the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge plus frequent ferry services from nearby terminals. Air Macau uses MFM as its primary base, and several Chinese and regional carriers maintain routes. Prices at the airport and nearby transfers are generally moderate, though airfares can be higher than larger Chinese hubs due to limited capacity.
