Opened in 1923, Boston Logan International Airport is New England’s largest airport with four passenger terminals (A, B, C and international Terminal E) and handles over 30 million travelers a year, making it a key gateway for domestic and transatlantic flights. Perched on Boston Harbor just 3 miles from downtown, Logan offers fast access via the MBTA Blue Line and Silver Line bus to South Station, Logan Express shuttles to suburban parking lots, ferries and plentiful taxi/rideshare options—ideal for exploring the city or connecting to Cape Cod. Parking and dining on-site tend to be pricey, but airfare can be competitive thanks to JetBlue’s large base and strong operations by Delta and American, plus seasonal international carriers.
