Lensk Airport

Lensk Airport, opened in the Soviet era in the 1960s, is a small regional airport in the Sakha Republic with a single modest terminal serving the town of Lensk and nearby diamond‑mining settlements. Though compact, it plays an important role for local travel and cargo, offering scheduled connections to Yakutsk and other regional centers with onward links to Moscow via larger hubs. The airport is easily reached by road from Lensk by taxi or local bus, and transfers are typically short. Fares can be higher than national averages because of the remote location, but regional carriers such as Yakutia Airlines, Polar Airlines and occasional UTair flights provide regular service.
