Lakeba Airport

Lakeba Airport is the small regional gateway to Fiji’s eastern Lau Islands, opened in the mid-20th century and featuring a single compact terminal that handles short domestic hops. Though modest in size, it’s an important link for islanders and visitors, with regular Fiji Link services to Suva (Nausori) and occasional connections via Nadi—making it a practical base for exploring Lau. Ground access is straightforward with short taxi or hotel transfers and boat links to neighboring isles. Fares tend to be moderate but can run higher than mainline routes due to the airport’s remote location; it is not a major airline hub.
