Ketapang Airport

Rahadi Osman Airport, serving Ketapang and southern West Kalimantan, opened in the 1970s and operates from a single compact terminal. This small but important regional airport links coastal communities with larger hubs—regular flights connect Ketapang to Pontianak and provide onward connections to Jakarta and other Indonesian cities. Ground access is straightforward with a short drive to Ketapang town, local minibuses, taxis and easy transfers to nearby ferry services for island destinations. Mostly served by regional and low-cost carriers such as Wings Air, Lion Air and Susi Air, Ketapang is generally budget-friendly for travelers and, while not a major hub, is vital for regional access.
