Jersey Airport, opened in 1937 and serving as the main air gateway to the Channel Islands, is a compact regional airport with a single terminal handling domestic and short-haul international flights. Located roughly five miles northwest of St Helier, it offers quick access to town by taxi, car hire and regular bus services, making it easy to reach island beaches and ports. As Jersey’s busiest airport it’s important for business and leisure travel, and serves as a base for Blue Islands with frequent flights from British Airways, easyJet, Aurigny and Loganair. Fares can be higher than many UK regionals, though budget options often bring good deals.
