Isle of Man Airport

Isle of Man Airport (IOM), also known as Ronaldsway, opened in 1938 and remains the island’s main gateway with a single, compact passenger terminal handling regional and seasonal services. As the busiest airport on the Isle of Man it connects Douglas and nearby Castletown to the UK and Ireland, roughly 5 miles (8 km) from Douglas, via regular Bus Vannin routes, taxis and car hire. The airport is small but well-equipped for short hops and holiday charters; fares are generally affordable thanks to regional carriers and budget seasonal services. IOM serves as a base for Loganair and regularly hosts seasonal flights from operators such as TUI and easyJet.
