Ibague Airport

Perales Airport (Ibagué Airport, IATA: IBE) is a small regional airport serving the Tolima capital; opened in the mid-20th century, it operates from a single modest terminal and primarily handles domestic and regional flights on turboprops and narrow-body aircraft. As Ibagué’s main gateway, it’s important for local business and tourism but not a national hub, with regular service from domestic carriers such as Avianca and regional operators like EasyFly and Satena. The airport sits about 12–15 km (roughly 20–30 minutes) from downtown Ibagué, accessible by taxis, shared vans and local buses with straightforward road links to Bogotá (around 3–4 hours). Facilities are basic, which tends to keep fares and on-site costs more budget-friendly than Colombia’s larger international airports.
