Helena Regional Airport

Helena Regional Airport (HLN), established in the 1960s, is a compact, single-terminal gateway serving Montana’s capital and surrounding mountain communities. As the state’s regional airport for Helena it handles primarily regional jet and turboprop service and is an important link to larger hubs rather than a major international gateway. The airport is easily reachable by car with short shuttle, taxi and rental-car connections to downtown and regional highways; limited public transit is available. Fares are generally moderate but can run higher than at big hubs because of limited nonstop routes. HLN is primarily served by regional affiliates such as Delta Connection and United Express rather than hosting a major airline hub.
