Guernsey Airport

Guernsey Airport (GCI) opened in the 1930s and operates from a single small terminal, acting as the island’s main air link to the UK and nearby Channel Islands. Compact but busy, it’s the key regional gateway for business and leisure travelers, with regular services to London, Southampton and other UK cities. The airport is a short drive (around 10–15 minutes) from St Peter Port and is well connected by local buses, taxis and car hire, with easy transfers to ferry links for nearby islands. Fares can be higher than major hubs due to limited competition, and GCI serves as a base for Aurigny while regional carriers and seasonal low-cost airlines add extra routes for cheap-flight hunters.
