Goulimime Airport

Goulimime Airport, also commonly spelled Guelmim Airport, opened in the 1970s and operates as a compact regional airfield with a single terminal that handles domestic and seasonal international services. As the main gateway to southern Morocco and the nearby Sahara, it’s a modest but important facility for travelers heading to Guelmim and surrounding coastal and desert destinations. Located roughly 8–12 km from the city center and linked by the N1 road, regular taxis, shuttle services and car hires make connections straightforward. The airport is generally budget-friendly with competitively priced regional flights operated mainly by Royal Air Maroc’s regional arm and occasional low-cost or charter services.
