Geraldton Airport, established in the mid-20th century, is a compact regional gateway serving Western Australia’s Mid West with a single small passenger terminal and additional facilities for charters and freight. Located roughly 10 km from Geraldton’s CBD, it’s easily reached by car, taxi, or shuttle services—public bus options are limited—making transfers to local towns and mining sites straightforward. The airport is an important link for regular flights to Perth and occasional interstate services; it isn’t a major hub but is commonly served by regional carriers such as QantasLink and Rex.
