Fuyun Koktokay

Fuyun Koktokay Airport (IATA: FYN) opened in the mid-2010s (around 2015–2017) and operates from a single compact terminal as a small regional gateway in Fuyun County, Xinjiang, serving visitors to the Koktokay National Geopark. Though modest in size, FYN is important for local tourism and connects the remote area to larger hubs via road links, seasonal shuttle coaches and taxi services to Fuyun town and onward connections to Ürümqi and other Xinjiang cities. It is not a major airline hub and is served by a handful of domestic carriers on limited routes; fares are usually affordable for local trips, though limited competition can mean higher seasonal prices.
