Eday Airport

Eday Airport (EOI) is a tiny regional airfield on the Orkney island of Eday, established in the 1970s, with a single small terminal and a couple of short runways that handle short inter-island hops. As a low-traffic but essential transport link, it connects locals and visitors primarily to Kirkwall and other Orkney islands—services are mainly operated by Loganair—while road links on Eday are limited so taxis and local transfers are the usual onward options. The airport’s compact size makes it quick to navigate; fares for these short hops can be moderate to slightly expensive per mile, but they’re a time-saving lifeline for island travel.
