Dothan Regional Airport

Opened in the mid-20th century, Dothan Regional Airport is a compact, single-terminal airport serving Dothan and the Wiregrass region of southeastern Alabama. As the area’s primary regional gateway, it handles a handful of daily flights and is important for local business and leisure travel; it isn’t a major airline hub but is served by regional carriers such as American Eagle. Located roughly 8–10 miles from downtown Dothan, the airport is best reached by car with rental cars, taxis and rideshares the most common options; public transit is limited. Terminal parking and on-site facilities are generally affordable, though airfares can be higher due to limited nonstop routes.
