Dawson City Airport

Dawson City Airport (YDA) is a small regional airport in Yukon, opened in the 1960s, with a single modest terminal serving as the primary air gateway to the Klondike and Dawson’s Gold Rush attractions. Compact but important for northern travel, YDA handles scheduled flights and charters—especially seasonal summer services—and links to Whitehorse for onward connections to Canada’s south. The airport is a short drive from downtown Dawson City with limited public transit; travelers typically use shuttles, taxis or rental cars.
