Cozumel Airport

Cozumel Airport (CZM), officially Cozumel International Airport, opened in the 1950s and operates from a single main passenger terminal, handling a compact but busy mix of domestic, international and charter services. As the primary air gateway to the island’s famed dive sites and cruise ports, it’s small in scale yet important for tourism, with quick 10–15 minute taxi rides to downtown San Miguel and easy ferry connections to Playa del Carmen for mainland access. Not a major hub, CZM sees regular service from carriers like Aeroméxico and Volaris plus seasonal flights and charters from American, Delta, United, Sunwing and WestJet, and fares are generally moderate with frequent seasonal deals for bargain hunters.
