Corpus Christi International Airport, 1000 International Drive, Corpus Christi, TX 78405, United States
Corpus Christi International Airport opened in the early 1940s as a military training field and later grew into the region’s primary civilian airport, operating from a single passenger terminal with a couple of concourses. This modest but busy Gulf Coast airport is a key gateway for South Texas, serving Corpus Christi, the Port of Corpus Christi and nearby coastal communities with mostly domestic connections. Ground access is convenient via US-181/I-37 corridors, local bus links and plentiful rideshare and rental options for the roughly 10–20 minute drive to downtown. Not a major airline hub, CRP is served primarily by American Eagle, United Express and regional carriers and generally offers affordable fares compared with large hubs, though nonstop options are limited.
