Corlu

Tekirdağ Çorlu Airport began life as a military airfield and opened to civilian traffic in the 1990s; today its single compact passenger terminal handles regional and domestic services for eastern Thrace. Smaller than Istanbul’s hubs but strategically important for the industrial Çorlu–Tekirdağ area, the airport is a popular gateway for cargo and short-haul flights. Ground access is straightforward with regular road links, intercity buses and private shuttles connecting to Çorlu, Tekirdağ and wider Marmara destinations, while travelers can also reach Istanbul by bus or car. Fares are generally affordable compared with major hubs, and carriers such as Turkish Airlines/AnadoluJet, Pegasus and a range of charter and cargo operators maintain services here.
