Boise Air Terminal (Gowen Field) (BOI) opened in the 1930s (est. 1936) and operates a single main terminal with one concourse, serving as Idaho’s primary commercial gateway and a mid-sized regional airport. Located just a few miles southeast of downtown Boise, BOI offers quick access via I‑84 and convenient connections by public bus, airport shuttles, taxis and rideshares, making it a handy starting point for trips into the Boise foothills and central Idaho.
