Arutua Airport

Arutua Airport opened in the 1970s and remains a compact, single-terminal airfield serving the tranquil Arutua atoll in the Tuamotu archipelago. This small but vital regional airport handles mainly island-hopping services and a handful of charters, with Air Tahiti providing the principal scheduled link to Papeete and other Tuamotu destinations. The short runway and modest facilities mean quick arrivals and departures, and the terminal is just a short walk or shuttle ride from the main village and lagoon access points.
