Ground access is straightforward—about 20 km from central Hofuf via well-maintained roads with taxis, car hire and occasional shuttle services linking to nearby cities—while the larger King Fahd International in Dammam is roughly 100–120 km away for international connections. HOF is generally budget-friendly for domestic flyers, served primarily by Saudia and low-cost carriers such as flynas rather than functioning as a major hub.
