Aktobe Airport

Aktobe International Airport, serving the city of Aktobe in western Kazakhstan, was established in the mid-20th century (around the 1950s) and today operates from a single main passenger terminal alongside cargo facilities. As the region’s primary domestic and regional gateway, this medium-sized airport handles scheduled flights across Kazakhstan and to nearby countries, acting as a regional base for SCAT Airlines and a regular destination for carriers such as Qazaq Air and Air Astana. Located about 10–15 km from the city center, it’s easily reached by road with taxis, shuttle buses and car hire; fares and on-site costs are generally more affordable than at larger hubs.
