Nanded

Nanded’s Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Airport, opened in 2008, is a compact regional airport with a single terminal serving the Marathwada area and pilgrims visiting nearby Sikh sites. Though modest in size, it plays an important role for local travel and short domestic hops, with regular services from low-cost carriers like IndiGo and SpiceJet and occasional regional flights by Alliance Air. The airport sits roughly 10–15 km from Nanded city and is well linked by taxis, pre-paid cabs and intermittent bus services, making it easy to reach. Generally considered budget-friendly thanks to frequent low-cost fares, it is not a major airline hub but offers convenient links to larger cities.
