Hotan Airport

Hotan Airport (HTN), serving the oasis city of Hotan in Xinjiang, opened in the early 1990s and operates from a single terminal that handles regional and domestic traffic; it’s a modest but strategically important gateway to the southern Tarim Basin. Located roughly 10–15 km from Hotan city centre, the airport is reachable by taxi, shared vans and limited bus services, with regular connections to Urumqi and other Chinese cities. Fares are generally affordable for domestic travelers though prices can rise during peak holiday periods. While not a major hub, Hotan hosts flights from Air China, China Southern, Hainan Airlines and several regional carriers.
