Fayetteville Regional Airport

Fayetteville Regional Airport (FAY) opened in the 1960s and operates from a single, compact terminal handling regional and charter flights for southeastern North Carolina. As the closest airport to Fort Liberty and downtown Fayetteville (about 5–7 miles north), FAY is an important gateway for military families and business travelers, with rental cars, taxis, shuttles and local bus links to the city and nearby highways.
