Anqing Tianzhushan Airport

Anqing Tianzhushan Airport (AQG) opened in the early 2010s (2013) and operates a single modern terminal serving as the regional gateway to Anqing and the nearby Tianzhushan scenic area. Though modest in size compared with China's major airports, AQG handles regular domestic routes and is strategically important for Anhui tourism and business travel. It's about a 30–40 minute drive from Anqing city center with taxis, airport shuttles and good road links to nearby cities—making connections straightforward. Fares are generally budget-friendly on domestic routes, and the airport is served by carriers such as China Eastern, Air China and Spring Airlines rather than functioning as a major airline hub.
