Adisutjipto International Airport, Jalan Laksda Adisucipto No. 1, Maguwoharjo, Depok District, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta 55281, Indonesia
Adisutjipto International Airport (JOG) in Yogyakarta, originally developed from a mid-20th century airfield and opened for civilian use in the 1950s, is a compact, city‑center gateway with one main passenger terminal serving mostly domestic and a handful of regional routes. As Yogyakarta’s convenient airport, it sits only about 6 km from the city center and links to central Yogyakarta by taxis, app-based rides and local buses, making transfers quick for culture- and beach-bound travelers. The airport is generally considered budget-friendly, with frequent low-cost carrier services and operations by major Indonesian airlines such as Lion Air, Garuda Indonesia and Citilink acting as regular bases for domestic flights.
