Dniproavia was founded in 1996 as a regional carrier based in Dnipro, Ukraine. The airline traditionally operated a small fleet of regional jets on domestic and nearby international routes, offering basic, no-frills service rather than a premium product. Advantages included competitive fares on some routes, simple fare structures and convenient regional connectivity. Disadvantages were a limited route network, an aging fleet, variable punctuality and financial instability with intermittent suspensions of scheduled operations (notably in 2017). Dniproavia does not hold a Skytrax rating.
