Ondangwa Airport

Ondangwa Airport, opened in the 1960s, is a small but important regional gateway to northern Namibia, serving Ondangwa and surrounding towns in the Oshana and Oshikoto regions. With a single passenger terminal handling scheduled domestic flights and charter services, the airport is compact and geared toward short-haul travel. Located about 5 km from Ondangwa town centre, it’s reachable by taxi, car rental and limited shuttle or bus services along main regional roads, making transfers to Etosha National Park and nearby towns straightforward. Not a major international hub, it primarily supports domestic carriers and charter operators and is generally considered affordable for budget-minded travelers.
