Alakanuk Airport

Alakanuk Airport (AUK) is a small public-use airport in Alaska’s Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta that opened in the mid-20th century (around the 1950s–1960s) and is owned by the Alaska DOT&PF. The facility has a single terminal building and one runway, serving as an essential regional airstrip for the village of Alakanuk rather than a major hub. Connections are primarily via scheduled bush carriers to Bethel—your gateway to Anchorage—and local charter or river transport in summer, with snowmachine/sled access in winter.
